Perfect Fondue & Only 5 Ingredients!

This is a perfect fondue for any party or event!  We only get this once a year at Christmas from mom and it's always a tradition we look forward to! This year we switched it up a little by my brother and I making it. Usually my mom does it in a double broiler and it seems like she is always having to stand by it and tend to it. This year we used my brothers new 3 hole crock pot to keep it warm. We still had to stand by it initially to get it to the right thickness but then it seemed to be a little less maintenance.

Ingredients:
5 Cups processed cheese (2.5C Swiss & 2.5C American)
2 Cups Riesling
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Butter
1/4 tsp Accent
Your choice of dipping items. We like to use loads of bread (sourdough and rye).

Directions:
Tear apart the cheese. Bring wine, butter, and seasoning to a boil.  Add cheese and either set in a double broiler or crock pot. Stir until all is blended together.

NOTE: if it is too thick add wine OR if it is too thin add more cheese.

Here is ours in the crockpot. We won't even talk about the other fondue my brother tried to throw together. Let's just say next year we will stick to moms recipe!
